Our clients approached us with two goals in mind; create an indoor/outdoor living area that would provide multiple spaces for entertainment, activity and relaxation and to perform a complete renovation of the exterior of their Atlanta home to a modern transitional style.
The facelift began in the front of the house by removing the English Tudor paneling with Hardie Board siding and black Mira TEC trim. We added a custom contemporary railing to the porch, a new mailbox, updated the landscaping and completed this stunning exterior renovation with a concrete paver driveway.
In the backyard, our designers created a custom outdoor oasis with a wealth of options for relaxing and socializing. The Brazilian hardwood deck features two levels with the upper deck acting as the cooking and dining area and includes a custom outdoor kitchen with concrete countertops, grill, sink, refrigerator and kegerator with a double tap. The large, panoramic doors provide instant access to indoor/outdoor living.
The lower deck offers an additional seating area and entertaining space when large parties are gathered on the deck. Waterfall steps lead to the lawn terrace giving the household pets a place to play.
The contemporary elements our clients desired are very evident in the patio area. This inviting space features a decorative concrete patio with a custom concrete fire pit and floating wooden bench. The patio extends underneath the deck and includes a ceiling fan overhead and a deluxe day bed creating the ideal spot for lounging or reading your favorite book during those hot summer months. The lush landscaping and cedar privacy fence provides a tranquil setting for city living.
